Candela Detroit is the new venue in Southwest Detroit
We are just minutes from Corktown and Downtown Detroit, conveniently located near all major freeways.
We support the Mexicantown/Corktown community and its rich multicultural heritage. We want to bring opportunities to showcase international and local talent. We produce events to showcase the local arts, national and world culture. These events include live music, corporate, community, celebrations, comedy, dance performances, theater, culinary, and art exhibitions.
The mission is to provide a friendly, convenient community space that hosts memorable events. Whether you attend one of our events or host your own event with us, we aim to provide an excellent experience and opportunity for our community to celebrate culture.
We remodeled the former Lithuanian Hall to improve the experience of our patrons as we aim to provide a comfortable and friendly space to accommodate private, professional, and live entertainment.
In 2026, a new commercial kitchen was added to provide international event experiences with international catering and kitchen rental opportunities. Contact us for more information.
